Our leaders should have a deep understanding of who we are and a strong vision of where we are going. As your County Councilmember for District 2, I have the experience, expertise, comprehensive knowledge, and understanding of the complex issues facing us. I have a strong reputation for supporting the residents in my District and throughout Montgomery County.
I have served our community for nearly 30 years as an advocate for Upcounty residents, on issues both large and small and I look forward to continue serving you in my second term as County Councilmember.
What I Stand For
- Create jobs and expand Montgomery County’s tax base by attracting new companies and helping existing businesses grow.
- Increase affordable housing while maintaining the unique qualities of our neighborhoods and reduce barriers for first-time home buyers.
- Reduce traffic and build our infrastructure with more efficient travel options and smart strategic planning, while protecting the environment.
- Expand access to early education to reduce the achievement gap that is leaving too many children unprepared for grade school and beyond.
- Protect our Agricultural Reserve and all our rural areas.
- Ensure that ALL residents have equitable access to the great resources in our community, employment opportunities, housing, and education.

For nearly 30 years, I have worked diligently to make our community a better place to live. Through my work in civic organizations, county government, and numerous non-profit organizations, I’ve been involved in a wide range of County and State issues.
